Comte d’Empúries Square

Popularly known as “Sa Plaça”, it is the central hub of Muro. Its name recalls one of the participants in the Conquest of Mallorca in 1229. Its current appearance is the result of the 1997 renovation, featuring natural stone paving, benches and linden trees that provide shade.

The main events of the Sant Joan festivities are held here, as well as the weekly market every Sunday. It is the main meeting point for both residents and visitors.
