If you are travelling by plane, getting to Muro is very easy. Palma de Mallorca Airport (Son Sant Joan) offers national and international connections all year round. Airlines such as Vueling, Ryanair, Iberia, EasyJet and Air Europa operate regular flights from major European cities.
Once at the airport, you can reach Muro or Platja de Muro in less than an hour by road, whether by rental car, taxi or public transport.
If you prefer to travel by sea, Mallorca has regular connections with Barcelona, Valencia and other Mediterranean ports. The Port of Alcúdia, located just 15 minutes from Muro, is the best option if you arrive by ferry. You can also disembark at the Port of Palma, about 50 minutes away by road.
Ferry companies include Balèaria, Trasmed and GNV.
Arriving on the island by sea is a unique experience, with the silhouette of the coastline welcoming you.
Muro is well connected to the TIB public transport network. There are regular lines linking the municipality with Palma, Inca, Alcúdia and Can Picafort. During high season, frequencies increase, especially towards Platja de Muro.
If you are travelling by car or renting a vehicle, reaching Muro is very convenient. From Palma, simply follow the Ma-13 motorway towards Inca and Alcúdia. The route is direct and clearly signposted.
In approximately 45–50 minutes from Palma, you will already be enjoying the landscape or the coast. It is a comfortable option if you want to get around independently.
