The tower is one of the most emblematic buildings in Muro. Its 46 metres in height make it visible from all around. Construction began in the early 17th century. In 1640, work continued on the bell chamber until completion. It has seven levels, the upper two featuring four pointed arches on each side, and a terrace at the top.
Inside, there are four bells named Eloi, Bàrbara, Angelina and Trinitat. A wooden wheel can also be seen, along with the wooden clappers (massoles), used only on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Access to the upper part is from inside the church via a small bridge.
