WHERE IS MURO?
Muro with an extension of 55.40 km2 is located in the north of the island of Mallorca, 43 km from Palma. This municipality belongs to the region of Pla de Mallorca. The municipality of Muro borders the municipalities of Alcúdia, Llubí, Sa Pobla and Santa Margarita.
Our municipality is built on a hill overlooking the bay of Alcúdia, the city enjoys a privileged location in the center of a fertile plain well watered and protected from the strong winds and frozen by the north of the Serra de Tramuntana.
The municipality extends from the interior to Playa de Muro, one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in Mallorca. Playa de Muro stretches for 6 km and offers a spectacular landscape of white sand and crystal clear waters.
